Whether you already have clear ideas or feel unsure where to begin, I will guide you through the process with kindness and professionalism.
A ceremony written and delivered by an independent celebrant can include any of the formal or informal elements listed, striking a balance of tears, laughter and reflection:

I will arrange to meet with you and your family either at your home, your chosen Funeral Director or wherever you feel most comfortable to talk.
I will spend time with you, listening to the stories you tell me and asking you questions to understand the type of ceremony you want for your loved one.
I will get to know the person behind the memories — their character, values, relationships, stories and the moments that made them who they were.
Together, we will create a ceremony that reflects the person being remembered with warmth, dignity and care.
Within 24 hours of meeting, I will write and share an outline of the ceremony for you to agree. Once agreed, I will write a full script, which I'll share with you so that you can make any changes you'd like until you are happy with what is being delivered. This means you will know what to expect ahead of the day.
