I became a celebrant because I believe every person deserves to be remembered in a way that reflects who they were.
For me, it is a privilege to help tell someone’s story and create a ceremony that brings comfort and space to remember your loved one.
I have lived in the North East for over 25 years, juggling family life and working in higher education as a people, project and change manager before retraining as a Funeral Celebrant.
Through personal experience of loss and farewells, I recognise families carry the responsibility of making difficult decisions while also grieving.
I offer a calm, professional and compassionate presence during that time. Someone who listens carefully, understands what matters most, and helps create a meaningful farewell that feels personal and genuine.
